Since there are more than a hundred large and small argan oil (argan oil) manufacturers scattered in different locations in the main areas where nut trees grow , in order to most effectively screen suitable manufacturers, we ensure that our manufacturers must meet the following conditions:
1. Ten years or more of experience to ensure sufficient experience and skills
2. Must have relevant international certification
3. Local environmental hygiene and good facilities
4. I am a member of the Argan Women's Cooperatives and the work atmosphere is good. We hope to find a manufacturer who is humane and can give back to the local residents.
Our nut oil producer is the best among many nut oil producers and meets all the requirements. It was officially established in 1997, with only 16 women workers at that time and now 45 women workers in Morocco. It has its own Argan Women's Cooperatives established in 2005, managing a total of 9 small and medium-sized nut oil producers. It has a full range of international certifications, including ECOCERT, USDA, NormaCert, ONSSA, and became the second nut oil producer in Morocco to obtain Fairtrade international certification in 2014.
The production plant is far from the main road
The production plant is located about 25 kilometers from Essaouira in a protected nut tree area. Unlike most manufacturers, it is not located on the main street. You need to follow the signs on the main street to reach the main factory.
This benefit can greatly reduce the pollution of exhaust gas and dust from the streets in the factory, including nut storage warehouses, female workers' workshops, and toilets for refining nut oil, thereby maintaining an excellent level of hygiene.
Cool and dry nut storage
After being harvested, the nuts are stored in a cool, dry place until needed, and can be kept for up to about 3 years.
Due to the large export volume of producers, we also purchase nuts directly from other female workers who only collect but do not work here (under the Fair Trade principle, we will not purchase from certain middle sellers who sell nuts) to ensure that we have enough stock to extract nut oil.
'Nut pulping machine' to improve efficiency
More than 80% of the nut pulp is also removed using this machine, with only a small portion being handled by female workers.
開闊的女工工作間
女工處理堅果的地方，空氣流通，環境整理，空間開闊，每個工作間可容納8-12人同一時間工作。
工場內有45名女工，工作時間為星期一至六，每天工作約10小時，大部分女工都是自由上班時間，工作時間最長的女工一個月也不多於20天，按所處理的堅果重量來釐定工資。
封閉式的提煉堅果油衛生房間及機器
採用封閉式的提煉堅果油地方，只能透過玻璃參觀，不是工人絕不能內進，進入前亦要穿著整套衛生裝備。內部簡單整潔，是眾多曾經考察的工場中衛生環境最佳的一所，高度符合摩洛哥食物安全局(ONSSA)的要求及得到其認證。

Our manufacturer has a good reputation and is well-known in Morocco, and their products are mainly exported to different places in Europe and America. Since there are good and bad retailers on the market, they never take the initiative to sell to other places of unknown origin to avoid affecting their reputation.
Fortunately, the locals strongly recommended us and we have maintained good communication. The two consecutive days of inspection also showed our sincerity in cooperation. In addition, they have been planning to enter the Asian market but have not encountered a suitable choice. Under these factors, we successfully got the exclusive agency in Hong Kong, which is the second agency in Asia after Japan.
