Our Manufacturers
After the valuable experience of searching for Moroccan nut oil producers, we are more familiar with the operating model of local manufacturers, which makes it easier for us to distinguish the good from the bad and the real from the fake. In addition, after truly cooperating with Moroccans, we have learned more about the unique local communication culture.
There are hundreds of rose product manufacturing factories and shops near the "Rose Valley" in Morocco, some large, some small, some new, some old, and they are all different. It is impossible to continue exploring and understanding them. Fortunately, as always, we did a lot of data collection this time and screened several factories that are worth a deeper understanding. Finally, we chose a rose producer recommended by our Argan Oil producer and also obtained the "Fairtrade" international certification. It is also the only rose producer in Morocco that has obtained the "Fairtrade" international certification. The successful cooperation is also due to the fact that Argan Oil can be successfully developed in Hong Kong, which gives them great confidence.
The producer has 17 full-time employees, all of whom are also members of the women's cooperative. They are mainly responsible for helping to organize operations, preparing orders, receiving visitors, and monitoring the entire rose extraction process and quality management to ensure that each procedure meets production requirements. They each have their own rose gardens, and sell the roses they harvest to producers every year by actual weight. Of course, with the ever-expanding scale of our producers, this quantity is not enough to meet the annual supply, and we have to purchase roses from more than 20 other women who also have their own rose gardens. Based on the principle of 'fair trade', each woman's income must be proportional to the roses she harvests, and they will never be exploited for their hard work like some small factories.
Since the manufacturer was established only 7 years ago, its facilities are relatively new and well-preserved, the environment is clean and open, and the hygiene is good. It has been certified by the Moroccan Food Safety Authority (ONSSA) for many years, which means that the production workshop has excellent hygiene environment and equipment and complies with all local hygiene and safety requirements.
